Guarding

commercial, residential, retail and educational sectors. Expertly trained
security personnel are deployed to several blue-chip clients.
Minimum Grade C security officers are posted, unless otherwise requested. All
staff are thoroughly vetted, and criminal clearance checks are carried out
prior to deployment.
Regular service evaluations are conducted to ensure high service delivery.
All sites are backed up by Armed Reaction, technology and emergency
response services.
Officer training is site specific and include fire, first aid and access control skills. All on-site training is done by Grade A instructors where job-specific site instructions are formulated, including incident handling procedures, contingency evacuation procedures, and fire and risk management solutions.
Commercial Guarding Division
The highly-skilled management and supervisory team focus on commercial security. Site-specific training and induction for all security officers are facilitated by a dedicated team of instructors.
Special Event Guarding
All special events staff are pre-screened and carefully selected based on the event requirements. Mobile Control Centres with state-of-the-art surveillance equipment can be deployed.

Specialist Estate Security Division
Astro Secure Africa is a market leader in residential estate security and has established a dedicated Estate Division. The objective of this division, led by a team of specialists in their field, is to provide tailor-made and pro-active security solutions with a host of security initiatives designed specifically for estates.
Security officers are specially selected and trained for security estates. Astro Secure AfricaSecurity officers undergo stringent vetting criteria and proven aptitude assessments for our estate clients.
The dedicated management and supervisory team focus on residential estate security. Site-specific training and induction for all security officers are facilitated by a dedicated team of instructors.
- AccessTrack: A scanner-based access control system identifying driver ID and vehicle registrations to control access/egress with a centralised database to be shared (if requested) amongst participating schools and campuses to enable the flagging of suspicious vehicles or drivers, or any access control related threats.
- Afiswitch/Ideco: We provide criminal record/background checks and on-site screening or on-site terminals for the vetting of all casual and temporary staff.
- Automatic Number Plate Recognition: The use of this technology on-site through existing CCTV platforms and connected to our Command Centre to monitor real-time licence plate information, checking for cloned vehicles, stolen vehicles, suspicions or wanted vehicles.
- Live CCTV and Vehicle Tracking: All Astro Secure AfricaSecurity vehicles are fitted with on-board CCTV cameras that can be monitored live through our Command Centre or remote-control room for management of drivers in real-time.
- Body Camera: Can be supplied for all strategic posts, and reaction officers can be deployed with body cameras for video and audio recordings for post event debriefs.
- PTT: Provides real-time guard tracking capability through the Command Centre or remote control rooms.
- Technology: Astro Secure AfricaSecurity has a specialised team that provides CCTV, access control, alarms and off-site monitoring options which are tailor-made for residential security estates.
Specialist Schools and Campus Security Division
Security officers are specially trained in school and campus security, which is established through developing site-specific Security Operating Procedures (SOP) with our clients. All security officers and management have all undergone stringent vetting criteria and proven aptitude assessments for these environments.

- Special Events: A dedicated and trained team of management, supervisors and staff to cater for events such as sports events, music concerts, open days, etc.

- Technology: We provide specialised CCTV, access control, alarms and off-site monitoring – tailor-made for schools and campuses.
- Crime Intelligence: The sharing of the latest crime stats and crime alerts in and around schools is critical. These alerts are driven by social media and online campaigns.
- Risk Audits: Comprehensive risk assessments can be conducted on an annual or bi-annual basis.
